My school’s JROTC Armed Drill Team is actually studying the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon’s perfeormances and adapting it into our exhibition phases, prominently the “Rose” formation. Though we will never reach the precision this Marines have, we are working hard to make our performances a fitting tribute to such excellence in drill. Thank you, they spend years developing these skills, believe it or not this drilling starts in boot camp (Don't let anyone here you say this in boot camp it's called monkey drill) the DIs call out like 7 commands as we are marching, the Drill Team will know when their next show is and will then learn that show by practicing for a few months until it's perfect. Have fun with this and it will make a difference.
