Yes, there are toxic officer leaders,as well. However, as even officer know, true leadership is in the SNCO ranks. The vast majority of the experience is there as well. Quite often a senior officer will mentir their young lieutenants by recommending that they shadow a seniir NCO in order to learn hiw to lead.
