Justice was served. From day one as a DI you are constantly told that no recruit is worth your career. There are plenty of perfectly legal and constructive ways to train and punish recruits. Demeaning their religion and country of origin is no way to make them a Marine. If a recruit fails to meet standards and shows no promise ship them home on a bus with an entry level separation, no in a coffin. Whatever his weaknesses were the young man didn't deserve to be driven to suicide.

Imagine if a Muslim put a Christian in a dryer and turned it on until he renounced his faith.
