But is some countries I can get bricks for pennies because labor is cheap. The cost of printing via 3D is still not cheap....just like the cost of an M-16 is 3-4 times the cost of just buying it in the store. My time is more valuable.

have you seen what explosions even nearby one do to brick and mortar structures, If they build that concrete structure well it is far more protective. and if you are in an earthquake zone that is far more true,

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - The printers will probably be issue equipment before long and in many parts of the world bricks and mortar are not available at the local Home Depot.

Sorry Bricks and Blocks in a Foreign country not in standard and should not be used. I have done missions down south America where we bought some on the market, and did not want to use them, but we needed to complete mission. I was the one looking and purchasing, advised higher and task Force we wanted to give back to the locals so purchased. I would not use their martial for main construction on a FOB ever.
This will be placed in Seabee TOA and Marine Engineer TOA, will be on MPF.

Very interesting, we have a couple of engineers here in Port Arthur who are in the early stages of starting a 3-D printed homes project.
