I've always loved his stories, quotes, and anecdotes (matter of fact, I have written several of his quotes here in RP and have them posted in my kitchen at work). I'm not surprised about the 100 years thing though, and I don't see it as cruel, I see it like a mischievous sort of tongue in cheek thing. A sneaking a cookie out of the cookie jar thing- THAT is Tom Sawyer, THAT is Mark Twain, THAT is Sam Clemens to me.

Great read COL Lee Flemming one of the first authors I truly read outside of Dr. Seuss. Best selling author in 3 centuries is an achievement.
