SGT James Murphy - These rocks in the delta region of Jezero Crater, exhibit signs of being honed or burnished by water or some liquid... The residue on the rocks appears to me like the minerals deposited from the water or liquid source... My frame of reference is from the rocks I have seen in dried riverbeds throughout my lifetime... Note that if you fill a tablespoon with tap water and let it evaporate, what's left behind are the minerals that were in the water... So perhaps not water now on this Martian surface, but certainly in my mind's eye water is or was present during Mars History...

Ya, I'd love to believe that, but it could also be wind. I've seen similar on the top of Mt Washington.
