Ever seen the Seinfeld episode where the White woman Jerry was dating had an Asian name? Even the Chinese restaurant scene was hilarious. Seinfeld was very good at injecting reality into his TV series. I've watched the show, I would've never guessed the woman had an Asian genealogy. Bet she faced moments where casting assumed she was Asian until they saw her picture; all that means is she missed out on roles for Asian characters. That's a good thing not to get type casted. Not to mention she's not the first actor/actress to change their name for reasons like having the same name as another celebrity in Hollywood.
