A post I just recently posted on Facebook. As a currently serving 42A in the USAR, I take pride in both understanding and help fixing my soldiers financial problems. However, in many states, such as NY in my case have made it virtually impossible to make ends meet independently. My generation is slowly becoming economically destroyed and it's only getting worse. The spoils of the "baby boomer" generation have helped protect the younger generation growing up, but in adulthood the boomers are still thriving, leaving little for us. We are expected to move out of their house at 18, but it's a vastly different time and a much harder situation for young adults now than it was for the boomers. This is aimed more towards the 18-40 crowd when I ask "what do we need to do to survive this depression our generation is currently undertaking"?
