McCain Should Stop Meddling in the Bergdahl Case

When I read this my gut reaction is Sen. McCain needs to retire completely. There is a system in place to handle the Bergdahl case and the politicians need to step back and let it slowly grind out the final verdict. Having sat on both sides of the UCMJ, I can tell you it is far fairer than any civilian court I have had to deal with. Any legal proceeding is painful but if anything the military really bends over backwards to get to the bottom line truth. What makes this case different is that the POTUS has tainted it with the prisoner exchange which has caused a political firestorm...talk about command influence! McCain should know better and should take the higher moral ground to defuse the political element in the case. The fact he can let the process work out as well as other action brings into question (for me) his judgment.
