I apparently don't understand what white privilege is. I can only assume that is because I have always had it? And since I can't, for the lack of a better term, turn it off. I can not experience what it is to not have it. So I am left to hear of it from those that do not have it. Second hand experience is a poor excuse for actually living it, but it's as close as I can get. I do understand as well as anyone who is looking at the issue from the outside can that other than white peoples experience many prejudices and hatreds. As well as discriminations in many forms. Is it white privilege to not experience these prejudices, hatreds and discriminations? Or is there more to it that I have not contemplated?

The phrase "white privilege" is a cop out, a myth. There are plenty of poor white people who just lack the initiative or have done extremely stupid things to limit their access to success, just like there are plenty of black people with raw talent/intelligence who have made it into the medical, business, scientific, academic, sports, et.al., fields.

Media matters is funded by ultra left wing billionaires. I wouldn't take anything they say as gospel. Although their original mandate was to monitor just conservative media, they've gone full communist propaganda.

In 2004, democratic political operative and journalist David Brock received $2 million from several rich progressives to start Media Matters, with the goal of “monitoring” conservative commentators and to note any factual errors that they present on their television and radio programs.

With Russia exploiting American social sites and media to create racial animosity you'd think the left leaning media would be exposing the truth, unless they want division; companies like facebook were selling ads to Russian propagandists to further divide our country.

He didn't say it for Media Matters. He said it on his own news show. Media Matters is just one of many "sources" to report it.

I say "sources" because I agree with you on the rest.

I said that because it was posted by MMfA on their facebook profile; i.e., confirmation bias. Anything that fits their narrative will be fair game for "public relations."
