Photography is such an interesting field, for someone this well versed in the field to answer questions is a real opportunity for anyone interested in the field. SSG Holston, what kind of training would you recommend an aspiring newspaper or magazine photographer to pursue?

Hello. I'm Andy with RMSP, the photo school who is hosting the U.S. Armed Services Photo Contest. Kenny was nice enough to complete a Q&A with me for our blog, so I posted a link here. I certainly can't answer your question for Kenny as he will have his own opinions and thoughts on photo training. However, I feel like anyone interested in learning the ropes in the best, most efficient way possible should look into attending a photo-specific school like RMSP. Our 8-month Professional Intensive program, which is approved for VA benefits, is ideal. (Obviously, I might be a bit biased though.)
