Dr. David Shulkin is taking on probably the one role that very few people ever want to get close to. I too am hopeful because his success is our success. I really hope that we see changes impacting both the VAHS and VABS sides of the VA.
It's no secret that 15+ years of continuous war have places a large strain on the VA. It is also no secret that the VA could use a complete overhaul. But yes, that letter is very promising.
Now its time to see him take those words and put them into action. Hopefully we all gain from his success.
