About the Art & the Artist:
"I've been drawing for about 31 years and into painting for about that long. I've been a musician for about 27 years as well. Recently (November 2012), I've started to feel like my art has been stagnant and wanted to expand on it. I bought a Dremel Rotary Tool From Home Depot during their Black Friday event and had some scrap wood lying around. Friends saw the potential for my artwork and suggested that I get exposure in the 2013 Snowflake Gala, a Christian event for Christian artists. One of my pieces sold and I felt right then that I could make something of it. So, this is my art:
Christian based artwork using a Dremel Rotary Tool to engrave into many varieties of wood. They are: Pine (#2 - Select), Birch, Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF), Oak, Maple and Pressed board (with Melamine and without.) Artwork is drawn onto selected medium, engraved with Dremel and painted suing metallic paints. Some of the pieces do have metal somewhere within the piece itself, some are just painted metallic. I am open to creating custom pieces (as long as the potential customer is willing to pay the asking price.)
I am also going to expand into creating art on plexiglass and perhaps incorporating it into new art." ... LCpl Emanuel Worrell
