Michigan Central: Future of Global Mobility | Ford

This is Ford Motor Company's new commercial where they are rebuilding the hulk of Michigan Central Station and rehabbing a large section of Corktown in Detroit. Celebrates Detroits comeback as a manufacturing city of the Midwest. Long story about why they did not declare bankruptcy sooner (sad story on politics). Now that it has restructured it has a bright future. Ford has invested another $2 Billion in rehabbing the historic River Rouge Plant in Dearborn. Students of history will remember the historic role that plant played in the Union movement in this country and the bloody strikes that took place there between the UAW and Henry Ford. Rumored at one point that Henry Fords wife threatened him with Divorce unless he compromised and gave the workers a raise.
