PO3 Christopher Sherman This was interesting to me as I just bought a couple of Uniden CB radios this year, one for our home base (with a 20’ antenna on the roof) and the other CB for the car with
a 3 1/2 ‘ antennae for the roof. I learned how to tune (calibrate) the radios to the antennas. After calibration, our communication increased from 3 to 8 miles in certain directions, but we may be able to do better than that.
