It was doomed from the start, almost as many uninsured today as when passed into law. Despite a couple trillion in expenditures.

LTC Kevin B. Simple math. Estimated 48 million uninsured before ACA, currently less than 9 million enrollees. Simple math, abject failure as a program.

MCPO Roger Collins - Actually, you are messing up your numbers. Even if it was 48m uninsured prior, and it's now only 39m uninsured (i.e. 9m new enrollees), that's still a +9m win. However, that 8.4m number that you cited is the number of people who enrolled on the Healthcare.gov website, which is the Federal exchange. That number does not count the number of new enrollees on all of the State exchanges ("This snapshot also does not include plan selections from State-based Exchanges".

So, keep spinning your wheels here, but no matter how much you want to claim the law has been unsuccessful, the evidence shows that the law has successfully helped millions of Americans get health insurance. Quibble over the exact number all you want, but that will never change reality.

You do realize that ObamaCare was a Republican policy, hatched in a Republican think tank, and pushed by Republicans for years, including three Republican Presidential nominees, right? Plus, it was first implemented by a Republican governor who happens to be a current Republican Senator. You knew that, right? The Republican Party just turned on their own policy once President Obama embraced it.
ObamaCare....the Republicans "did build that".
ObamaCare....the Republicans "were for it before they were against it".
