Military commanders get OK to shoot down drones over bases

So.. deploy the Rapid Response Drone Destructive Unit, get it? R2D2! Come on, that's funny right there... In all honesty, why do I see a bunch of base security running around shooting 100's of shotgun rounds trying to knock these down? I think they should be allowed to shoot them, I just picture keystone cops (especially where contractors have taken over base security)...
