I've bought a few things there. They have some really neat products. I think my Kids got my Blanket with my Name Rank and Rate with the Navy Logo on it there also.

Great site, the only thing I object to is TOO many Commemorative Medals. They are nice keepsakes, but I see a lot of vets wearing them with the top row hitting the shoulder. I think it is good to commemorate previous wars and conflicts that did not give out a lot of medals, Cold War, and a few others. But there are a lot of medals based on other medals. Others include medals for badges (Expert Marksman, Airborne, Air Assault).

My Father-in-law served briefly in the 60s, no combat, and received no federal medals, just a few qualification badges. He could have 8 commemorative medals.

My Great-Uncle served stateside during WWII before dying in an accident. He would be entitled to only one federal medal, the WWII Victory Medal. He could have 4 commemorative.

I do not wear commemorative medals, but could add 17 commemorative to my current ribbon rack of 18. That is where I think it gets excessive. So I encourage older vets wear them, as the military was much more stingy with awards before the 80s. But current era vets..... use sparingly.

I have never owned a commemorative medal and I would never mix anything with My regular service ribbons including some even the American Legion has. I have 5 rows of regular issued Military ribbons, can't think of any reason I'd want more. I do wear My service ribbons on My American Legion uniform but the only same ones I was authorized to wear on My Air Force uniform.

Thanks for sharing the link to Medals of America SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
One day I plan on repurchasing a set of miniatures. I have too look through my boxed up stuff to see how many of the original medals I still have. Once we move out of my mother-in-laws house I will be able to go through the boxes.
