Seriously... Somalia Dec 92 to like Mar 93... we ate nothing but MREs... then T rations arrived and life was good... Simple pleasured...

I was in Somalia from 2 Jan to early May and we, too, at nothing but MRE's. I was at Baledogle attached from Fort Drum to an AVIM unit out of Germany (7-159th). We finally got T rations for breakfast and dinner with the MRE for lunch. At one point the MKT ran out of T rations except for Chicken Cacciatore. We had chicken cacciatore for breakfast and dinner for a LONG time...to this day I cannot eat chicken cacciatore!
