Thanks for spreading the word SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that Rep. Joe Heck, R-Nev., chairman of the House Armed Services Committee’s personnel panel, said he anticipates next week’s final draft of the annual defense authorization bill will include an extension of the Special Survivor Indemnity Allowance, a monthly payout to military widows and widowers.
Hopefully this will pass in both the House and Senate versions of the Defense Authorization and Appropriation bills and that after the next POTUS is installed in office permanent legislation will be enacted and signed into law.

What do you want? "Fiscal Conservatism? Austerity?" or do you feel you have a duty to take care of those Widows? I say Screw the Penny Pinchers we have a duty to our Veterans and their Widows.
