I see dubious sites all the time. I take nothing at face value. Whether people believe it or not, our mainstream media, like FOX, MSNBC, CNN, NPR, and PBS, is the better news source. Yes, all are slanted slightly Left or Right, but bias does not have anything to do with fact. The old adage that you are entitled to your own opinions, NOT your own facts applies here. Yes, we are sceptical about our own press, and that is good; however, there is a great danger in calling opinions which you don't agree with as "fake news."

I usually find that VOA is now the best of US sources... and funny how they went from a long arm of the USG to actually being one of the best news sources.. with great journalists. As to fake news - The problem with disinformation is never that it is perceived to be an opinion - it is instead optimized to be perceived to be the facts.

LTC Eric Udouj you are so right. One of our problems is not that there is too much propaganda. That is to be expected. I think our main problem is that there is so much information out there, people begin to feel overwhelmed and apathetic. It takes time and effort to sift through and discern what is important to be an informed citizen.
