Folks bow fish for them at the Reelfoot Lake Spillway. Saw a fishing show catching some 5 ft long in Texas. Trinity River maybe?

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel I queried the son that loves fishing and lives on a lake near MO. His comment: “We have those here. I caught one about as big as in that pic. They have huge and sharp teeth.”
