Given GPE's current decision to cut off electricity whenever there is a threat to their equipment or lines makes you wonder if California thought about the ramifications when they made the utilities responsible for any and all damage whether they did anything wrong or not. Who is going to want to live there if they know electricity will be hit and miss? What businesses will stay if they have an opportunity to go where power can be counted on? I worked in California (did not live there) many years ago and thought California was a bit off center. They are worse now.
