I am also not sure that these arrests will do anything to impact sex trafficking. Using an undercover cop to solicit John's on a website...they didn't establish any connection to sex trafficking; the prostitute wasn't a victim of trafficking. They didn't identify a victim of trafficking, or a trafficker...they did nothing of substance. Simply a headline grabber to be able to say to a dull non-thinking segment of the public they did something.

In any case, better forewarned and cautious. The best advice is, avoid this behavior or you might be the next headline.

Prostitution is no longer referred to as such, it is now Human Trafficking, regardless of the status of the prostitute
Bell county sees a Murder every day or so.
Bell county sees Gang related attacks, rapes, assaults, drug trafficking
Bell county is saturated with drug activity.
Bell county has a HUGE DUI problem.
Bell county sees a significant amount of rapes and personal assault, armed robberies
The Sting involved catching Johns going after your common prostitute, not a person trafficked, not minors..... and this is where Sheriff Eddy Lange chose to put his resources...Somebody wanting to exchange $100 for an hours company with a consenting adult..
Im not unaware of the associated criminal activities to prostitution...Or that many of those in the biz are doing so not by want and choice, but feeling that is their only way to make money to survive, and that would , does suck.. So Im not saying it is a "victimless crime " so it should not be ignored, but it is not a priority to waste resources on either

They try to boost their own egos by saying sex trafficking when they know it isn't. In my day you weren't a man unless you had an Article 15, now it seems they throw you out if you do. It't a different world from what I know.

I concur. I'm not arguing in favor of misbehavior. But back when I enlisted in the early 1970's, many NCO's, many good NCO's, had an Article 15 on their record. Nowadays it seems as if it's "zero tolerance" and anyone with any blemish on their record gets thrown out. I think we're kidding ourselves. No one is perfect. Trying to create a force with seemingly "perfect" records will end up with some very good soldiers tossed out while less capable soldiers with 'perfect' records are retained.
