Thank you my friend Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen for sharing. BTW I am an MOAA member for life.
Noteworthy in this analysis piece is that the House version of the FY 2019 National Defense Authorization Act did not propose any fee increases.
In accordance with the U.S. Constitution, it is the responsibility of the U.S. House of Representatives to initiate federal Authorization acts.
Hopefully in conference the U.S. House of Representatives version will triumph for those beneficiaries who entered into the service prior to Jan. 1, 2018 [referred to as Group A in the article]

Yes, hope compromise version looks better, but pushing fee increases is becoming an all too common trend in Congress. BTW I'm a life member as well.

I hope there will be no fee increases that negatively affect the beneficiaries LTC Stephen F. because it seems that veterans and active duty are consistently drizzling losses to the benefit promises that came forth from Abraham Lincoln's 2nd Inaugural Address, "...to care for him who shall have borne the wounds...".
