Mass, no, massive hysteria is sweeping the NFL and many of its fans. I don't know about you but I pray that I am never obligated to stand in respect of my nation or its symbols. I want everyone to know with absolute certainty that I do so voluntarily, willingly, happily. I also want those who don't feel the same to be free to show their disrespect without restraint. Thus I will know them by their words and actions. It's really as simple as that. And as the nation abandons its Constitution, I will know who are its enemies and those who preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution will easily recognize me as an ally. As to the purported complaints that started this whole mess, I am familiar with them and find them without substance.

Haven't watched an NFL game, I change the channel when the news is covering the NFL, removed my name from the waiting list for season tickets to the Los Angeles Chargers, had season ticket to the Cardinals, gave up Directv NFL Ticket. It is a choice to kneel, stand or sit during the National Anthem. I went to game 2 of the World Series and really enjoyed the players and fans honoring Veterans and OUR National Anthem. Maybe baseball is Americas national past time. I will not spend 1 dime on the NFL until the owners or the league make it mandatory for the players to stand honoring our flag, National Anthem and veterans. I hope many of you agree with me, I served in peacetime, can't imagine the brothers and sisters that lost limbs, or gave the ultimate sacrifice fighting for the right for free speech, this goes way past speech they are the symbols of our Nation. I understand the argument of Freedom and the players should have the right to exercise the right to protest, but not during our National Anthem. Just like you can't yell Fire in a theater, there are limits, and i humbly think this is over the limit.

I think we should start shifting from NFL Football to Soccer anyway. Let Football fade into the past.
