Lt Col Charlie Brown, thanks for reminding me. I was supposed to get my yearly eye exam a couple of months ago, however I had the surgery to put the Nurosimulator and leads that run up my neck. So far so good. The hardest thing was having to wear that hard collar for 6 weeks. Have a great year.

I just had my semi-annual eye exam at the VA. I learned that I no longer need glasses. I guess, according to the eye Doc, as we age our eye begin returning to 20/20 uncorrected. Not sure if that applies to everyone but glad it applies to me. Doc also said that he would write me an Rx for glasses if I want one.

Thank God for Lasik surgery! I wore the birth control devices and I had -200 and -400 vision with astigmatism. 15 years after lasik, I'm still 20 / 25 on my left eye and about 20 / 35 on my right eye with some astigmatism. No more having to shoot with those painful inserts. Lasik is amazing and I'm glad I had it done even though I was 41 when I had it done. It pushed me from having to wear reading glasses for building airplanes and tanks or reading up close for almost 5 years.
