So is this guy telling the truth and is being framed or is he indeed a spy and a wanted criminal.
Regardless if he was or is involved in doing shady deals then he knows how the deals are made. That wouldn't make his claims any less credible if anything it would point to how he knows what he knows.

SPC David S. Luft and that story are new to me. Thanks for posting the article. What I do know is that China and Israel have been cozying up politically for a few years. It was all over China News in English before covid took a hold of all media.
Of course some folks know what they know about corruption for protection from corruption, without being tempted to become nefariously corrupt. From what the article tells us, I am unconvinced about Luft's claims of innocence. Time should tell . . . however, although it should not, the dual-citizenship complication could result in the problem being swept under the rug, as usual.<sigh>
