How did that work out for M&Ms and for that matter, Bud Light? Disney? This is not some "crazy far right" sentiment. When you decide to have your company dip into and even maintain controversial and more specifically polarizing issues, you're going to turn people away. Especially when a company chooses to challenge or change their own status quo to appeal to or pander to a specific group. That's their decision and they're free to execute it... At their own risk. If a significant group of people decides to dump a company because it no longer portrays the values, traditions, or themes they built their reputation on, have at it. But don't complain to me if they lose their once iconic status because I or anyone else no longer believes they represent what put them there. I don't suggest or tell anyone to boycott anything. If I don't like what a company advertises and/or represents, I will look at other options. I may not always be able to find other options, but that hesitancy to initially purchase, or my success in finding some options eventually adds up. I guess moving on from here we'll have to see... Was it worth it for Skittles? Personally, I love the candy, as I do M&Ms. But as a consumer, I know there are other options with companies not pushing political or "social justice" pandering.

SFC (Join to see) - I don't think anyone in their right mind (left or right) believes the rainbow colors Skittles uses represents LGBT or some kind of grooming agenda. If people from those circles want to think of it that way, so be it. When I see colors in candy I think as they were meant to, the flavor of the candy. That is with the exception of Haribo Gummy Bears, which I was shocked to learn, green is raspberry! Symbols are also touchy things which get highjacked from one perception to another. When I see rainbows, I see beauty in the skies and I think of pots of gold and leprechauns. Why we allow some symbols to characterize people and their views is beyond me. Example; I have the Navy version of the Gadsden Flag (First Navy Jack) I prominently place on my tactical backpack or satchel (man purse if you prefer). Does that make me an extremist white power Nazi just because they've attempted to hijack the symbol? Never mind the fact the flag /symbol has a proud American history, the Navy uses it on their uniforms, and mine was given to me by a friend in the Navy. To me it symbolizes, "don't screw with the United States".
People are wary of polarizing political and "social justice" messaging on products. Be it sports, food, and even entertainment shows (TV / Movies), I'm not going there for that, nor am I interested in knowing the political leanings of Disney, Mars, ESPN, etc... If I want political commentary and to listen to the latest issue people take on with whatever topic, I go to the Internet and search for it, talk to others, or watch/read about it in the media. These companies are alienating people, it's bad for business, and it accomplishes little to nothing. There is a time and place from some of it and to do it right, it need to resonate with a very large portion of the American people. Putting Pro American or US Military symbolism into products, for example, is something very few people take issue with. But some companies cross lines which have obvious implications to their business, simply to promote their perceptions of the world.

SFC John Davis Interesting point about Florida dropping AP Black History because the ball is rolling and Arkansas just followed their lead.

We also need to see President Biden and President Obama go to jail because they knew about the fake steel dossier and they knew about Crossfire hurricane and they knew about the illegal wiretaps on President Trump during his election campaign. They were stabbing him in the back the whole time even during the transition.
This is now coming back to bite you because we have whistleblowers coming out and Democrats do not look clean anymore.
That's why I was referring to World War Z rabid zombie Angry Democrats like Joy reading others who influenced by Lies made for by the DNC against Trump.
Trump may still go to jail but I hope a few prominent Democrats go to jail with him because they were screwing him over giving him the blue fault in the whole time he was trying to run and when he was transitioning to being president. Democrats love to exempt themselves saying they're saving democracy and now we're fighting out how much how undemocratic Democrats have been using Facebook Twitter and the Deep state to take away freedom of speech from Americans and from president Trump and this latest trial is pretty much a January 6th freedom of speech issue. So be prepared to cry and get out your Kleenex when he's found not guilty on many if not all indictments.
