I don't know why the media keeps bringing up their past financial issues as if that was the motive. Perhaps it could have been part of it - the cops don't even know his motive yet.
But every time I see it say how people described them as the "perfect" couple my senses trigger on that one. I guarantee that there was domestic violence that no one knew about. No one is "perfect." There is no "perfect" couple. I'm a domestic violence survivor and I didn't post about the things my ex was doing while I was with him. I hid it. The second time he hit me while I was pregnant I didn't tell anyone. It was the day before my birthday. I went to work the next day and five people asked me what happened and I lied. Even my 1SG saw me and I lied to him and they all figured it out. I stuck up for him, I defended him.
But generally when it comes to domestic violence you are going to see what appears to be the perfect couple and it's not that way behind the scenes - because no one wakes up one day and says "I'm gonna kill my pregnant wife and our two kids." No one just snaps like that. Something led up to it.
