The funny thing is that many Islamic "rules" are man made by "scholars" to favor their misogynistic views of Islam. As a Muslim, I openly fight against this every day.

You can always tell a tree by it's fruit. Where fundamentalism holds sway, there is no liberty and the fruit is bitter. Where the focus is on love for God and our fellow man, the practice is full of beauty and the fruit is sweet.

Truth when it comes to religion is what you believe. I feel no one would ever know the truth of their faith unless you were there during the days of creation. Considering I'm on the moral side of Islam, I would like to think my side is the truth.

SrA Edward Vong - The proof is in the pudding, does your faith help you to be more patient, more kind, more loving, does it make you a better person? If it does those things then it is a good thing.

Thanks for sharing SSgt (Join to see) It takes a lot of courage for a woman to speak out against the faith of her family - especially when the penalty can be severe.

In the Quran 2:191-193 demands offensive warfare to those who resist Allah's rule. Taqiyya is acceptable against the Infidel until the Infidel can be over powered and made to submit to my god of the Kaaba.
Those who call themselves Muslims must follow Muhammad. If they do not, they are Apostates. Some are apologists, or practicing Taqiyya. Islam is misogynistic.
