Muzzle Brakes and Flash Hiders, Mandatory for Survival

Very informative read on flash hiders and muzzle brakes.

My use is a little more practical than tactical. The only rifle I have a muzzle brake for is an M91/30 Mosin that I'm thinking of making my main deer rifle. My issue is that I've had difficulty finding long eye relief scopes that don't cost 10x what I paid for the rifle, and I've already wrecked a couple lower-end ones from recoil.
