I had Montgomery GI bill. Vietnam era. I had ten years to use or lose after I retired in 1992. I immediately went back to work as a GS 11 and then made GS 12. Stayed 18 years as a GS. I have 4 years of college
No degree. Logistics. Sap qualified. Microsoft suite expert. Project officer when 172nd ABN reset from the gulf to Afghanistan in 2001. I guess life is not always fair
