SGT (Join to see) Navy Gunners Mates love when we get to take Coasties Onboard and help them with LEDO, Law Enforcement Drug Ops, One of the Few Times they get to use their Weapons in Anger. Not Uncommon for the Drug Ship which is Laden with Drugs (Fuel for the Fire) to catch fire after we Shoot It in the Engine Room (Rarely do they Stop and We Shoot them in the Engine to Stop Them). After a Ship Burns it is Useless and a Hazard to Navigation rarely leaving us any other Option than to Sink It which we Usually Used the 5 Inch 54 Cal Gun to do.

Fascinating but you failed to mention how your vessel caught fire. Inquiring minds want to know...

The article said the ship was fired on, and a fire started. It wasn't me CPT Jack Durish. LOL
