Great quote from Kate. Asian Pacific Americans have had quite an impact on all facets of military life and how the military is seen around the world. I served with an Asian Pacific American SFC in the MEDEVAC who showed the Iraqi people his compassion and caring for his fellow man by taking up the torch for a little Iraqi girl in need of medical attention. Without this fellow human-beings help this little girl would not have survived. Imagine the impact on the community around the FOB! Fantastic group who believe in helping their fellow man/woman/child.
