SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint Now that is More than a Little Disconcerting to this Old Cold Warrior and Crypto Tech. I remember the "Numbers Stations" one way, a code for passing orders to your agents abroad.

PFC GG-15 RET Jim Lint – Good information. According to the article, Pyongyang had initially suspended such broadcasts in 2000, when the two Koreas held their first historic summit. Believe it or not, I was charged with overseeing/monitoring that High Profile Event/Incident from the CINC's Situations Room in CC SEOUL (Command Center Seoul), USAG Yongsan, ROK.

I was in J-2, CI at the time, and later went to be the Dep S-2 in 1st Signal Bde. We probably saw each other, or ate at the Townhouse at the same time.
