The democrats and their acolytes in the media are following a fixed strategy with Trump. It has a few prongs and interlocking fields of fire and is layered as well.
It began during the election cycle by the media going after Trump and insisting that if he lost, he must accept the results of the election or else. They were sure HRC would win.
When Trump won, the full assault had to get underway. The GOP was weak and feckless and allowed the Mueller probe to be put into place by what we now know to be a corrupt leadership group at the DOJ and FBI. That should have never happened.
It how appears that Mueller will come up empty and the democrats are changing their tactics but not their goal(s). Now they have Chubby Nadler going after anyone and everyone to try to find a crime. They are not investigating anything specific just a fishing expedition. Do we really think Nadler will find something a two+ year special counsel investigation missed? No is the answer to that question.
Nadler is setting the table in the event there is a Trump victory in 2020. If Trump wins (and with the nuts the democrats have as the face of their party he likely will) Nadler will be on a slow roll to continue the investigations and the march toward impeachment.
The attacks against Trump will continue from the press and the democrats. They are not necessarily colluding but they are soul mates. Their mission is to damage Trump in any way possible. The non stop stories on Trump with a negative spin are designed to be like the drip of water hitting the brick. Over time, they hope a hold is created.
Pelosi knows the Mueller front is collapsing, she is now moving to a fallback position. The long term goal of damaging Trump and if he wins reelection, to impeach him, by any means possible, marches on. She is keeping her powder dry.

Good analysis. The problem for Fat Jerry can only investigate as it is related to legislation, otherwise it is unconstitutional. The minority leader has put Fat Jerry on notice. We will see what happens.
