I will say without a doubt that Army North is looking at staffing and possible makeshift hospital sites should DOD assets be needed to support states that are overwhelmed. ACE looked at 600+ makeshift hospital sites I think in March of last year.

Sad. It just shows you that the lockdowns and masks are not nearly as successful at preventing spread as they want you to believe. The solution is to get the vaccine out there ASAP. Check out Florida's vaccine roll out

So the way public health (vs politics or conspiracies) works is to reduce risk. If society weren’t told to wear masks or distance then the toll would be worse. It is fallacious and outright wrong to imply because there is still some disease that we should abandon attempts to curtail spread.
