Your kidding right? You never have been on a work or duty detail your entire time in the Armed Forces? That is all this was. So lets say as a young enlisted man in the USAF that you complain about cutting the grass. This is nothing but a work detail. Is the man that requests the work detail obliged to continue to ask for you back on the detail just so as to not show favoritism? Everyone in the White House serves at the pleasure and whim of the President. That is how it should be. He was chosen by the electoral system to be the President and it is his home. Why can't he decide who is in it and who is on his staff?

You realize that everyone that works at a MEPS is also on a work detail for the DoD, they can be let go for whatever reason as well and returned back to their units. They also do not have guaranteed jobs no matter what they do. Being released from a work or duty detail has no impact to your career it just means the requestor is done with you and/or has found someone to replace you.

He said he did not here anything illegal, he just didn't agree with President Trump so he told the Ukraine to ignore everything President Trump said.
