See, here's the part that annoys me with regards to the ACLU. Yeah, they're a very progressive-minded group, fighting for liberties of marginalized groups, etc etc. But you know what else they do? Stand up for the liberties and rights of any citizen being trampled unjustly by the government. You may not agree with them on some, or probably even most of the issues they go to bat for, but they're pretty fair about calling out the government for any such tomfoolery where a citizen's rights are concerned.

I have too. He will loose because his disturbance is continuous and at inconvenient times

The examples he gives don't equal his or make any sense. Lawn mowers and kids crying??

SGT (Join to see) - Actually, lawnmowers are a noise ordinance issue. Between certain hours, powered equipment of any kind is not supposed to be run. Power tools mainly, but yard maintenance equipment also falls into that list, as they do create a disturbance. And besides, we're talking about just before 8pm. I know of no municipality where noise ordinance violations go into effect at that time.

Yes and he went past those hours. Lawn mowers are only aloud to overstate between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm, he went well past that and lawnmowers are not continuous
