Now it is cryptologic. The equipment they use also has changed with technological advances, just like a smart phone nowadays capable of doing a lot more than the mainframe back in the 70's.

Cryptologic is just another way of saying cryptanalysis. My AIT when I first went into the Army was at NTTC Corry Station in Pensacola, Florida. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/NAS_Pensacola_Corry_Station
At the time, that’s where all cryptanalysis training was held for all the services at one time.

MSgt Neil Greenfield - You were a Spook during My Time, You attended Corry "Jr High" LOL! Didn't Matter, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Some Army. Canadian, Royal Navy. What a Group. COMINT, ELINT, SIGINT, You Depended on Our Data You Went Also (Seals). Quite a Unique Group to Come Up in. Still Quite Proud that I was "Senior Spook on the Pier" for My Pacific Northwest Fleet when I Retired.
