Navy Hopes 'Hunter Killer' Does for Submariners What 'Top Gun' Did for Aviators

I don't know, I suspect flying a jet is a thrill, even if there is no combat. Being submerged in a sub for half a year crawling along at a couple of knots, not so much. Good luck with it all.

I was in Naval Nuclear Power School when 'Hunt for Red October' came out... one of our instructors took our class in dress blues down to the nearest civvy theater to watch it :)
