Wait six years????? Test the Damn Ship NOW! See if it is going to be like its namesake. Ford was clumsy and kept falling down the steps of Air Force One. SHOCK the SHIP see if it falls apart. That way we will know whether the Kennedy and ENTERPRISE will need to be built differently.

Help me understand this. As I understand it, these test are the can this ship hold up to the rigors of combat... Why would the Navy want to have a ship in a deployable status that is not tested/proven to be able to perform its mission in a combat environment?
Or is this just a float for a parade?
