Navy's Blue Angels flying team begins training in El Centro

This is my neck of the woods........we are always pleased to have the Angels come here to train. Our wide open spaces and our mild winter climate makes for a perfect winter training area.

I'm biased of course, so I'll say that the US Air Force does a better air show, but in reality the Blue Angles kick ass. They still seem to fly a bit lower and a bit closer. Plus Fat Albert rocks. Nod to the Marine Corps of course. Flown on it twice during the JATO shot take-offs. Killer ride!
