That sucks ! We spilled a gallon of fuel one day in San Diego, and I think every EPA related administration descended on us. The CO of the ship asked me if he was going to have to pay a $50k fine, and I told him no, it was a design flaw from the ship yard they wouldn't fix. EPA agreed and we got it fixed in a yard availability after that...

LT Brad McInnis Oh the Memories, I Put the Smoking Lamp Out throughout USS California, CGN-36 CDO Came Up to Give Me a New Asshole and All I Did pas Point Down, to See Chunks of DFM all around Us. "Did We Do That" "No Sir the Oiler Did" Officially the Oiler Pumped Out 100 Gallons of DFM. Nah, I Watched what happened from the Quaterdeck. the Oiler Misaligned the Valves an Pumped Out Way More than 100 Gallons of DFM.
