The whole system needs to be revamped......They already outsource due to long wait times, come up with a list of the most commonly outsorced appointments and do away with those parts of VA in hospital care. Outsource these appointments full time, and free up some of the appointment time in the VA hospitals. You will have to lose some specialists, but will be able to hire more GPs and specialists in the remaining fields to decrease wait times.

This is a report that is over 18 months old going back more than 3 years...
I've been dealing this the Salisbury VA for almost a year now and specifically with the Kernersville Clinic for 7 months and they have been nothing but exemplary in that time...
Their contract supporting organizations are slow but compared to other Facilities I have dealt with this is by far the best VA facility I have dealt with in the last 17 1/2 years... ...
