Two years ago, the Navajo Nation TRIED to round up the horses. Protesters forced them to stop. A few years before that the Navajo Nation TRIED to round up these horses. Again, protesters forced them to stop. This spring, the Navajo Nation TRIED to hold a hunt toreduce the population. Protesters forced them to stop. The Navajo Nation has been trying for years to get these horses off the range. The deaths of these horses falls squarely on the shoulders of the protesters who forced the Nation to keep them.
