Neoliberalism – the ideology at the root of all our problems

Interesting word, etymologically, lol....

I have heard of "neocons" but never "neolibs" and I pay attention. I've never been a fan of the manner in which "liberal" has been perverted. I always considered myself a liberal until the Left usurped the term. The modern Liberal (I suppose Neoliberal) hates liberty. I love it. I thrive on it. But now I accept that I am a conservative. I want to conserve the freedoms that the Revolutionaries (liberals) won. I want to conserve the Constitution and as free a market system as we may achieve. Yes, I promote free market capitalism and would love to live in such an economy. A free market economy is one of the gifts of individuals living freely, as they want. Pursuing life, liberty, and property -- all the elements of happiness. If the GOP represents a new vision of conservatism, neocon, then I'm SOL. I can't be either a liberal or a conservative. I guess I'll just be me...
