Computer Games are the wave of the future but one for Sexual Assault? Why Not, I guess. One way to get the younger soldiers attention.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel yea when I retired in 2014, everything was computer based training, "whatever works" long as it hits home and gets the point out.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL - Actually I follow some of these You Tube Gamers and I can see where you can actually be emotionally drawn into some of these games and they really are useful tools.

This reminds me of the Air Force Cyber Awareness training. To those that haven't seen this before. Yes, this is real. You can even earn "Achievement Points".

Honestly if it makes the process better and makes leaders better at handling the issue I'm for it.
My experience with the program there is still a whole lot of failure which I've never seen addressed.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL my biggest issue with the programs I've witnessed through my patients is jurisdiction issues.
For instance SM gets assaulted off post, returns on post and reports sharp. CID takes it but then idk what happens in the hand off with civilian detective but the ball is commonly dropped. Victims getting bounced around having to make new statesments each time... Which forces that SM to go ahead and recount what may be the worst day of their life over and over. So much so I've known some to just not continue.
What should the change be? Expand CIDs control. An assault happens off post on a SM or SM family member. Well that assault just happened against the US Army(or your affiliate branch) and the full weight of the army should be thrown behind that.
You know. They fail because they think we lack sharp training. As if there is a massive portion of the force that has been put to sleep with sharp slides.
We're at a place where the entire force knows sharp. Now let's look inward at our program and how can we improve it. Actual significant improvement.
