I can see this becoming incredibly useful, such as a hot LZ where it would not be practicle to resupply troops surrounded and black on ammo by a crewed helicopter or picking up wounded where they may otherwise succumb to their injuries. Also, in hot environments you can carry more without the weight of the crew as turbine engines horsepower is decreased substantially as the ambient temperature goes up. It could also be flown much more aggressive with less weight so that the airframe is not compromised by the excessive torque. This would help with extending the service life of the aircraft saving money.
I don't, however, believe we are anywhere close to eliminating an aircrew for delivering troops. Too much is on the line when you have humans on board, especially a group of "million dollar" ones! Defensive systems are really coming into their own in that regard.

I mean why not, let's see we become so advanced that no one dies in combat.then the robots turn on us and I am a computer geek. I heard that Amazon is trying to figure out how to use drones to make delivery .
